Privacy Policy
This policy explains how NISMAR d.o.o. processes personal data in connection with this website and transport enquiries.
1. Data controller

2. Data we process
The website has no data submission form, user account, online payment or online booking. We may receive personal data when you contact us by telephone, email, WhatsApp or Viber. This may include your name, telephone number, email address and information required to handle a transport enquiry, such as cargo details, loading location, destination and preferred date.
When you visit the website, the hosting infrastructure provider may technically process information such as your IP address, access time, requested URL, browser data and security logs. NISMAR does not use this information to profile visitors.
Photographs on the website may show family members, the owner, team members and other people associated with the company. Such photographs are processed to present the company, its work and its tradition after an appropriate legal basis has been established.
3. Purposes and legal bases
- responding to your enquiry and taking steps at your request before a possible contract is concluded;
- performing a contract if a transport contract is concluded;
- complying with legal obligations, particularly accounting and tax obligations where applicable;
- protecting the website and systems against misuse on the basis of the legitimate interest in system security;
- presenting the family business, team and operations through photographs, on the basis of consent or legitimate interests where applicable and with respect for the rights of the people shown.
4. Recipients and transfers
Data may be processed by authorised NISMAR personnel and by service providers required for communications and hosting, to the extent necessary to provide those services. If you contact us through WhatsApp, Viber or Facebook, processing is also governed by that provider’s privacy rules. NISMAR does not embed social media content, maps, videos, analytics or marketing pixels on this website.
Using these communication channels may involve transfers outside the EEA under the rules of the provider you choose. NISMAR does not send data directly to such providers before the user independently selects that channel.
5. Retention periods
We keep enquiry data for as long as needed to respond, prepare an offer and continue business communications. If a contract is concluded, data is kept for the duration of the contractual relationship and afterwards for the periods required by applicable law. Photographs remain published while they are relevant to the company presentation or until the applicable legal basis ceases. Technical security logs are retained by the hosting provider according to its configuration and contractual obligations.
6. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing and data portability where applicable, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Send requests to nismar@net.hr. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP) or your local supervisory authority.
